How long have you been at CCoF?

My wife and I have been attending CCoF since 1987.
Tell us about your family.
We will have been married 50 years this December. We have two adult children and seven grandchildren.
How have you served the Flagstaff community over the years?
My primary career was with the Arizona Department of Public Safety from which I retired in 1992 as Assistant Director. I was then a Project Director on the governor’s staff for several years. I then worked as general manager within the Department of Administration, and then Regional Director for the Department of Environmental Quality in Flagstaff. I was on the church staff at CCoF for 7 years prior to my retiring 11 years ago.
What is your passion? What's your favorite way to serve at CCoF?
My passion has been representing the church in the Flagstaff Community. I serve on the Coconino County Citizen Corps Council, on the call out committee for the Citizen Emergency Response Team for Coconino County. I also do volunteer work with the Salvation Army, the Coconino County Health Department, and the Department of Emergency Services. I have also worked as a member of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case homicide Squad. At church I do volunteer work as an elder, as a greeter for the 5:30 Saturday night service, and as a member of the security team.
What's your favorite Flagstaff restaurant and menu item?
One of my favorite restaurants in town is Dara Thai, and my favorite dish there is pad thai or panang curry.
